It is the visible part of the tooth. Two types of dental crowns can be distinguished:

• Natural Crown: it is exactly what we are used to seeing in the mouth and it has the basic function of the tooth, the functioning and the chewing of food. This is the reason why the crown must have maximum strength and hardness.

• Artificial Crown: is a manufacture of different materials, which takes the shape of the natural crown and replaces it. The dental crown is also called a dental sleeve.
